Vintage late 1940s to early 1950s pink ball gown. This hot pink confection of a dress has stunning details in an eye catching color! I have seen many light cupcake pink party dresses from the 40s and 50s but do not generally see this bold shade of pink. The strapless velvet petal bust bodice has a sweetheart neckline and has rows of tulle at the top.
It has metal boning for support and a metal zipper down the back. The full taffeta skirt is layered in more rows of tulle. There is a matching velvet cropped bolero jacket. No labels or tags, likely custom made for some lucky gal for her prom or debutante ball.
