The caps sleeves are sweet and their are the optional gloves. Underneath all the frill there is a heavy satin slip and there are "holders" to put the train up. I didn't attempt it as the dress is hard enough to handle and measure and photograph without doing that. I think the pictures are pretty good although difficult to photo as a whole because it didn't fit on my mannequin. Measurements are Bust 32" (not a lot of fullness there) waist 26", hips are under the full skirt so probably not an issue. The shoulder to waist measurement is 15" and waist to hem is 44". I show the dress against a pure white bedspread in some of the pictures so you can see the color. I would consider it very white not ivory or faded at all. I see no damage and no soiling - it almost looks as if it was never worn. I bought it from an estate sale and was told it was made for the bride in New York City. It does have seams that could be let out a little but not a lot. I thought I had the veil and I will look again but I didn't find it with the dress so thinking I was dreaming.
Due to the beautiful detail of the back, I would think a very simple veil would be pretty or a headpiece of some sort. This was very difficult to photograph so if you need more pictures I can try again. The dress is in a wedding dress box so is oversized.
